In this publication, Stefan Gritsch has created an artist’s book on his work of the past three years. His main concern during this time has been the relationship between image and mirror, which has led to fragile monotypes out of acrylic skin, stamped imprints and decals. The basis of the publication are the works themselves, reproduced as offset films, bound into the book in the printing process and afterwards modified by the artist. This book is a further step in the recycling work process that characterizes the artist’s approach.
